With an MBChB from Stellenbosch University, a Diploma in Anaesthesia from the Colleges of Medicine South Africa, and a Master’s in Sports Medicine (with distinction) from the University of Pretoria, he stands at the forefront of his field, constantly pushing boundaries in sports medicine innovation.
From nutrition and concussion management to extreme environmental adaptations and degenerative joint care, Dr Slabber’s expertise covers the full spectrum of athlete health. On site, he performs procedures such as stress ECGs, lung function tests, and ultrasound-guided joint and nerve interventions. Hjané is a dynamic physio with a strong foundation in sports, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Having accompanied the SA Women’s Hockey Team as their team physio at the Hockey World League Championships in 2017, her experience and skill have proven to be invaluable to countless patients. Her driving force is to offer individualised, multidisciplinary, and holistic care to each patient.
The gift of touch is something I can use everyday to impact the lives of others. I truly believe physiotherapy is a calling; not just a profession.

Liné Badenhorst
